his handcrafted mahogany wood model is an extremely beautiful replica of a CH-34 Choctaw helicopter. The helicopter body and matching stand are mahogany with other hard woods used for the windows, rotor blades, tail rotor and small detail pieces.

The Sikorsky H-34 Choctaw was originally developed for the U.S. Navy variants were designated as HSS-1 Seabat and HUS-1 Seahorse. The U.S. Marine Corps as a U-34D. The U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force originally designated the helicopter as H-34 but the Choctaw was later re-designated as the CH-34.
